Our Grave Care Services
Whether you need a regular tidy and tend, a one-off renovation, a maintenance tend until a headstone is erected, flower re-fresh or bespoke tributes for a special day, we have a service to suit. We follow safe practice regarding stone care and adhere to individual cemetery guidelines. All cultural and religious customs are respected. Our most popular services are listed here but we’ll be delighted to help with any query, so please just ask!
Regular Grave Tidy & Tend
Our standard service is a regular tidy and tend to care for the grave as you would like. When you get in touch with us, we carry out an initial visit to the plot to check its current condition.
Show you care no matter how far away you may be.
On each visit we will…
- Remove weeds, litter and overgrowth
- Removal of spent flowers or plants
- Lightly prune and deadhead existing plants.
- Trim and edge grass.
- Lightly cleanse the headstone or memorial plaque.
- Rinse vases or pots.
- Send a set of before and after photos by email.
Following the tend we can maintain the plot - Bi-annually
- Seasonally
- Monthly
Additional Services
- Plots can be reseeded at appropriate times of the year if needed.
- Replacement of memorial coloured chippings, glass or stone.
- Regilding of lettering.
- For genealogists or those researching their own family history we will locate the grave you are interested in then visit, take a photo of the plot and note the full inscription – £30 per visit
Bespoke Tribute
Commemorate special days or times of year with a floral tribute or wreath. Perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, Mothers and Father’s Day and religious holidays, our flowers and wreaths can be personalised to your requirements and laid on your day of choice.
Please Note
For Heavens Maid to fulfil any grave care services order you may place with us, we will need to know certain information regarding your loved one, including, name, date of birth, cemetery and grave reference. It will help to have this information to hand, when booking your grave care visit. If you don’t have this information, we can help you to locate the information.
