Hi, I’m Jenna, the founder of Heavens Maid.
Since leaving school, my career has been dedicated to caring for others—whether it was nurturing babies and children in day nurseries, supporting young people in care, assisting individuals with disabilities, or helping the elderly with their daily errands. I’ve cherished every opportunity to make a difference.
However, my world changed forever when I lost my mother unexpectedly, followed by my father not long after. These devastating losses shifted the course of my life and gave me a renewed sense of purpose.
Spending time tending to my parents’ final resting place became a deeply meaningful experience. The cemetery, once a source of sadness, transformed into a sanctuary of peace and reflection. The rustling leaves, birdsong, and gentle breeze provided a sense of calm that allowed me to connect with my parents in a profound way.
As I cared for their grave—refreshing flowers, cleaning the headstone, and ensuring everything was as they deserved—I found comfort in honuoring their memory. I also realised how fortunate I was to have the time and ability to do so, but I know not everyone has that same opportunity. Health challenges, busy schedules, distance, or life’s demands can make it difficult to tend to a loved one’s resting place as often as they’d like.
That’s why I created Heavens Maid UK: to help families who hold their loved ones close in their hearts but face obstacles in maintaining their graves or memorials.
